req.co.uk is a community. I know that sounds a bit vague, but we do various different things. To start with, there's blogging system that allows users to write group blogs with other users. We're also going to have a few activities - things like Codex, a community logic puzzle game. Keep an eye on us, we're getting bigger all the time.
Right, but can't you do this stuff already elsewhere on the net?

So what's the point?
It's a combination of a pet project, a tech demo, and a portfolio. Plus, making a social system and seeing people connect with each other gives me a nice warm feeling.

So, what's with all these little icons and things? I know you - you're not artistic!
Very true - the icons are from the free "Silk" set made by Mark James (www.famfamfam.com). They're rather good, and were within the budget for the site (ie £0.00). This is the closest that I've got to a credits page at the moment, so gratitude and linkage is here.
